For those who don’t know, Canning Town F.C. is a football club based in (you guessed it) Canning Town, London, and are currently members of the Essex Olympian League, Premier Division.
Universal Affiliates owner Andrew Andreou is passionate about Grass Roots football, and to coin a well-known football phrase was “Over the Moon” to be given the opportunity to support Canning Town F.C., which was founded in 1948.
Why Canning Town?
Universal Poker is a UK Registered Company, and despite having staff members worldwide, most staff reside in the UK.
Most of us at Universal Poker have always been big supporters of Canning Town FC, with their number 1 fan being Paul Mooney, the company’s Finance Manager.
With all of us being supporters of Canning Town FC and wanting to support the local community, the team decided to be their football club’s exclusive sponsor!
What We Do For Canning Town
There’s a lot that we do for Canning Town FC. We contribute to the club financially to assist with running costs, pitch fees (referee and linesmen), equipment, kits, and more!
Of course, this means our logo is presented on their stunning football kits, representing Universal Poker in style.
