With so much action going on at the WSOP 2021 it can be hard to keep up with what’s happened, but have no fear, Universal Poker are here to keep you posted with the latest outcomes of the events!
Event #32: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E.
Let’s start with Event #32: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E which attracted 282 entries bringing the event a total prizepool of $752,940.
Throwing things back to 2014 Jim Collopy finished 2nd taking the runners up spot for Event #27: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. and has now come back with a vengeance to beat the 282 entries of Event #32 at the WSOP 2021 taking his share of $172,823 from the prizepool.
This win brought Jim the second gold bracelet of his career after his won his first back in the WSOP 2013 (APAC – Asia Pacific) in Event #2: $1,650 Pot-Limit Omaha where he took home a 1st place prize of $142,533.

Event #33: $800 Eight-Handed No-Limit Hold’em Deep Stack
Next up we’re covering Event #33: $800 Eight-Handed No-Limit Hold’em Deep Stack which was a very speedy one which only took 5 hours to reach the final 9 players.
Both Israeli poker players Ran Koller and Ran Ilani done extremely well in the tournament (We’ll address them by their surname, so you know who’s who!).
Ilani came in second taking his share of $166,552 from this prizepool after being taken out of the tournament from his heads-up battle with Koller where he claimed his first WSOP gold bracelet and his share of $269,478 from the prizepool.
Both Rans represented Israel well and done them proud with this awesome victory!

Event #34: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw
Finally, we’re covering Event #34: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw which attracted a total number of 284 players, generating a total prizepool of $380,475.
David Baker was the victor in this tournament, taking home his share of $87,837 from the $380,475 prizepool as well as his THIRD gold bracelet which is a fantastic achievement!
Bakers previous 2 gold bracelets came from 2010 $10,000 No Limit 2-7 Single Draw and 2012 $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. making this his first official WSOP win in 9 years. No doubt David will continue playing and look to pursue his 4th gold bracelet and we wish him all the best on this venture!
Even though this is Bakers first WSOP win in 9 years, he has till had great success in previously finishing in the top 10 at events 15 times. Even though these weren’t 1st place victories they’re still amazing achievements nonetheless!
